Conference.

Building and equipping women with nuggets for greater heights, which had been the burden of
the convener, Parenting/Family Life Coach, Ololade Akande, were effectively addressed at the
2024 Women in Leadership Conference.

Numerous young and matured women participants from all walks of life had an unprecedented
encounter with notable resource persons at the event, which took place at the Redeemed
Christian Church of God (RCCG), Joseph’s Palace, Amuwo-Odofin, Festac, Lagos.

The speakers included organisational and communications coach, Eyono Fatayi-Williams;
public speaker and compere, Ayo Mairo-Ese; business consultant, Titilope Adeboye; CEO,
Bakes & Fries, Taiwo Oloruntoba and entrepreneur, Stella Osafile.

In her remarks, Akande emphasised that the conference was basically organised to build
women, teach them the skills and the techniques of working and carrying out their leadership
roles in five aspects of human life, which include spirituality, faith, family, business and health.

” This is the reason we brought in seasoned speakers who have done excellently well in their fields of endeavours in all these spheres of life to share their life journeys with them, challenges encountered and how they scaled through the hurdles and eventually be the best they are today in their various fields.

” This is the fourth edition and we have outstanding testimonies of beneficiaries who have passed through this conference and today are occupying leadership roles.The take away again
from this year’s conference is that women can lead anywhere they find themselves, be it in the kitchen, boardroom, stall, as a mother, as a wife, as an entrepreneur, a student and a career person,” she said.

President of the Women in Energy Network and former General Manager, NLG, Ayono Fatayi-
Williams, said being a good leader requires hard work and discipline, emphasising that
consistency is required to get to the top as without pain, there is no gain.
