Music megastar, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, better known by the stage name Wizkid, hinted that his sixth studio album is underway; adding that a new song will drop next week.
The two-time Grammy award winner disclosed this during an interview with Capital Extra’s Manny Norte, while commemorating his 33rd birthday on Sunday, July 16. The Best African Act 2021 MTV Europe Music Award winner had last month dropped Spider verse,
He said: “I got a new album ready. New Wiz’s album; I’m dropping a new song next week…in a couple of days.”
The Essence hit maker also hinted that he has more than enough musical catalogue to retire. “Come on, my brother; we are still recording music everyday. So, imagine how much music I have now,” Wizkid said.
