‘Why celebrating children remains significant to us’

Dufil Prima Foods Plc, producers of Indomie brand

Dufil Prima Foods Limited, makers of Indomie Noodles, has said its decision to be part of the yearly Children’s Day celebrations was informed by its belief in the power of community, and the positive impacts celebrating the day tends to have on the average Nigerian child.

The Group Corporate Communications and Events Manager, Dufil Prima Foods, Mr. Temitope Ashiwaju, explained this at one of the Lagos centres where Indomie Fan Club commemorated the day.

Ashiwaju stated that marking the day with the children demonstrated the company’s commitment to bring joy and unity to Nigerian children, since they derive so much joy and happiness in such celebrations.

Expressing her delight at the event, National Coordinator, Indomie Fans Club, Karishma Rustagi, described the celebration as being in line with the club’s ‘Show Some Love’ Campaign, aimed at bringing smiles to the faces of the children.

“At Indomie, we are dedicated to creating lasting memories and experiences for our young fans, and today’s celebration has been truly spectacular.

“We want children to know that education is key, which is why we are engaging them through educative games. This is almost the third generation of Indomie children since we started,” she said.
