Whoopi Goldberg Dismisses Jay-Z’s Grammy Criticisms

Veteran American Actress Whoopi Goldberg has applauded Beyoncé’s 32 Grammys, while dismissing Jay-Z’s concerns about her not winning Album of the Year.

Speaking on “The View,” Goldberg expressed her appreciation for the singer’s impressive accolades, emphasizing the subjectivity of awards.

Jay-Z’s Grammy critique is met with Goldberg’s perspective: “So I think (32) is kind of not a terrible number!” while referring to Beyonce’s past exploits.

In the aftermath of the Grammys, Goldberg commends the dominance of superwomen like Beyoncé and Taylor Swift in the awards.

She celebrates the recognition of female artists during the 66th annual Grammy Awards, where all televised awards were won by women.

Goldberg humorously ponders, “Thirty-two Grammys, where does she keep ’em?” while appreciating the spotlight on remarkable women in the music industry.

The Grammys, once criticized for lacking female nominees, witnessed a complete turnaround this year, with women dominating nominations and winning every award except Jay-Z’s. On The View, co-hosts praised Jay-Z’s powerful acknowledgment of change during his Global Impact Award acceptance.

Sunny Hostin applauded Jay-Z’s courage, but the panel’s only Grammy winner, Whoopi Goldberg, downplayed the significance of Beyoncé not winning Album of the Year.

Goldberg highlighted the diversity of women in the industry, stating, “Here’s what women are doing—they’re Black, white, Asian, Spanish. They’re all kinds of stuff. So, I’m grateful.”.

While acknowledging her co-hosts’ perspectives, Goldberg emphasized that Beyoncé’s 32 Grammys make her a “superhuman woman.” In her laid-back style, Goldberg playfully asked, “Where do you keep them, B?”
