A Professor of Political Economy, Olatunde Babawale, has called on government at all levels to adopt a multi-dimensional approach to tackle the prevailing terrorism situation in the country.
Babawale gave the recommendation Wednesday while presenting the lead paper at the 1st International Conference of the Department of History and International Studies of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko, Ondo State, Nigeria, tagged, “Democracy, Terrorism and Development in Africa.”
The university don whose paper was entitled, “The Democracy-Terrorism Disjuncture and the Challenges of Development in Nigeria,” said, “A very important step to tackle the scourge is for the government to intensify efforts in its infrastructure renewal drive to create the enabling environment for businesses to thrive.
