National Internal Auditor/Chairman Dental and Oral Health Committee 2023-2025 Biennium MWAN, Dr Adesuwa Uroghide-Edigin who is also the Medical Director of Edo State Hospitals management agency government Hospital Egba has hailed the contributions of women to societal development.
In a statement made available to newsmen in Benin, she said the theme of the 2024 IWD ‘Inspire Inclusion’, encourages everyone to recognize the contributions of women.
According to her, organizations and societies can inspire inclusion by harnessing women’s full potential of diverse strengths, perspectives and backgrounds which always leads to better innovative strides and decision-making.
She called for concerted efforts to promote women and girl child wellness and well-being saying, “Let’s seek a world where not more women but all women are empowered, valued, respected and included.”
“And to every woman out there. You are strong, compassionate, beautiful and unique. You can do anything you put your mind to. You can face adversity and still walk dauntless,” Uroghide-Edigin said.
“Invest in yourself to accelerate your progress and show diligence and dedication when you get the opportunity to be included. May you continue to inspire those around you.”
