The Registrar of the university, Mrs. Rifkatu Swanta, who spoke to journalists yesterday in Abuja, described the rumoured sack as the machinations of the enemies of the university.
She said: “That story is fundamentally far from the truth and the handiwork of those who hate the tremendous achievement made by the present vice chancellor since assuming office a year ago.
“The university is presently enjoying a robust academic atmosphere under the present management, as you can see the students are currently rounding off their second semester examinations and the student union government election is currently on-going’’
