Tinubu noted the many academic and professional accomplishments of Adegbulugbe in the fields of electrical engineering, climate change, and entrepreneurship, praising him for his contributions to national development and knowledge globally.
The President-elect and Prof. Adegbulugbe were both awardees at the seventh convocation ceremony of Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti in 2019 where they bagged honourary doctorate degrees alongside the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Mohammed Sa’ad Abubakar III, and the Obi of Onitsha, Igwe Alfred Nnaemeka Achebe.

It is gratifying that Adegbulugbe reached this age with great achievements under his belt and he can look back with thanksgiving to God for a life of purpose and great contribution to human progress, nationally and globally.
