So, Iwobi Cost Nigeria Nations Cup?
Nigeria Super Eagles lost the final of the just concluded Nations cup to host Cote d’Ivoire on Sunday. That is no longer news, what has become news is the continued harrassment and cyberbullying of Super Eagles midfielder, Alex Iwobi.

Some very angry Nigerians on social media have decided to make Iwobi scapegoat, blaming him for not manning his position well, which according to the online football experts, led to the total collapse of the team and consequently, defeat of the Eagles.

T4T has been a diehard supporter of the Super Eagles for over four decades now, he has been watching all their matches (well, almost all on TV and in stadiums) since the days of Black and White television and when mercurial radio commentator, Ernest Okonkwo (late), ruled the airwaves and one never had need to even watch the match on TV, because Okonkwo would make you believe you were watching it already through his radio commentary. And T4T watched Sunday’s game from start to finish. So, how Iwobi only became the culprit responsible for the defeat while other players should be exonerated beats T4T. The Eagles generally did not play well that night. They were already tired less than 20 minutes into the game and only a miracle would have made them win the game even with that lone goal by Captain William Troost-Ekong.

Some people who have turned themselves to social media emperors have launched a vicious anti Iwobi campaign, which their gullible mob has swallowed and run with. Iwobi, according to news reports, deleted all his photographs and videos save for one on his Instagram page. The young man who is also an English premiership football star is obviously traumatised, and that is why T4T is angry with him. Why would he allow some sore losers who have never kicked a beach ball (as light as it is) all their lives mess with his head? His stay in the UK has obviously turned him into an ‘ajebutter’. This Twitter (X) generation of badly raised kids think the world begins and ends on social media.
Iwobi ‘fall’ T4T’s hand by bowing to their bullying thereby giving them their much needed perverted satisfaction. T4T has been hearing some boast of ‘dragging’ Iwobi till he deleted all his pictures on his social media account. These are people who have not achieved any meaningful thing so far in their lives aside buying a smart phone, load 100 naira data and open a Twitter account where they spin and spew all types of obnoxious concoctions and attack personalities.
Iwobi did not cause Nigeria’s defeat. Cote d’Ivoire out played us that day. Blame the entire team if you must blame someone.

Israel DMW… Jester Or Logistics Manager?
T4T saw a video online on Tuesday. It was that of Israel DMW, music superstar, Davido’s Logistics Manager. You recall Israel, right? If you don’t, let T4T refresh your memory. Israel it was, who was in the news late last year when he announced the breakup of his marriage to his wife. And this same Israel was childishly listing things he bought for the wife, which included an iPhone, nor be say im build Shopping mall join the tins o.Well, his wife’s response was that she only advised her husband to plan for his life after Davido by investing the monies he is making now and also stop fooling himself on videos by rolling on the floor and screaming ‘My Oga’, ‘My Oga’, while hailing Davido in numerous videos posted online.
Well, it is clear that Israel DMW did not heed to his wife’s (now estranged) advice. In the recent video T4T saw, Israel with his hands raised rendering praises in Yoruba in an ‘Oriki’ fashion. And Davido, seated calmly and slowly eating a meal, was staring at his Aide. Someone among the small crowd even told him the hailing was enough, but did Israel listen? This kind of show by a husband would and should make any wife who knows her self worth be very ashamed sha.
T4T will ask this question again, does Israel’s Logistics Managing job also entails praise singing his boss? Is it part of his job description too, because T4T is not understanding anymore.

Even in the bible, Jesus tore into Pharisees and Sadducees for turning the ‘house of his father into a den of thieves and money changers”. So, if Nigerian Christians have perceived their pastors in the mould of the biblical Pharisees and Sadducees, it is only best they call them out.
