Aforjama Joachim, a visionary serial entrepreneur who hailed from Agulu, Anambra State, is making a significant impact through his philanthropic efforts with the Big C Charity Foundation.
Dedicated to uplifting the underprivileged, Aforjama Joachim organises an annual outreach programme, providing relief items to widows in need and empowering youths in his community.
Growing up in an average home, Aforjama Joachim stated that he experienced firsthand the challenges faced by underprivileged individuals and families. Adding that his early struggles fueled his empathy and determination to make a positive change in society. As a result, he launched the Big C Charity Foundation, a platform dedicated to transforming the lives of those in need.
“My focus is to make positive impact in the lives of people. Through Big C foundation, we organise annual outreach programme, where we provide much-needed relief items to the less privileged widows. The aim is to alleviate their hardship and offer a glimmer of hope in their lives,” Aforjama shared during a recent press engagement.
He added that he strongly believe in the power of education and empowerment. Through the foundation, he provides financial support and resources to empower young people, enabling them to pursue their dreams and build a brighter future.
Beyond his charitable activities, Aforjama Joachim actively engages in community development initiatives across the Eastern region of Nigeria. He spearheads various projects that focus on improving infrastructure, healthcare, and education within the communities.
The Big C Charity Foundation, under his astute leadership, also champions an awareness programme on drug abuse. The foundation partnered with prominent agencies, including the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency and the United Nations. As an ambassador for both organisations, Aforjama Joachim advocates for drug abuse prevention, educates communities, and provides support to individuals struggling with addiction.
He further revealed that his extraordinary journey from humble beginnings to building a successful business empire has inspired him to give back wholeheartedly to society.
