Award-winning singer, Patoranking, has unveiled a new mini-stadium in his hometown of Ebute Meta, Lagos, a move he said was his way of giving back to his community.
Patoranking, born Patrick Okogwu, has consistently expressed his dedication to supporting the area where he grew up. The newly constructed stadium offers local youth a space to play sports, socialise and develop their athletic abilities.
Posting a short snippet of the video, he said “God blessed Me, I Blessed my People, I built this from a place of love to unite my Community Ebute Metta…First of Many, World Best”
Details about the project are gradually being revealed, but photos shared on social media depict a well-maintained pitch suitable for football and other activities.

The Guardian reports that the singer has previously supported educational initiatives and youth empowerment programmes in Rwanda and various parts of Nigeria.
Patoranking, began his musical career in the early 2010s, emerging as a promising artiste in Nigeria’s reggae-dancehall scene.
Born and raised in Ebute Meta, Lagos, he started out performing at local clubs and events, gradually building a reputation for his distinctive sound and energetic performances.
His breakthrough came in 2013 with the hit single “Alubarika,” featuring Timaya, which garnered significant attention and established him as a rising star.
Since then, Patoranking has released multiple successful albums, including “God Over Everything” in 2016 and “Wilmer” in 2019.
His music, characterised by a blend of reggae, dancehall, and Afrobeats, has earned him numerous awards and nominations both locally and internationally. Known for his socially conscious lyrics and catchy melodies, Patoranking has collaborated with several high-profile artists and continues to be a major influence in the African music industry.
