Nigerian billionaire Obinna Iyiegbu, popularly known as Obi Cubana; Nollywood actor AY Makun, and Chairman of Five Star Group Emeka Okonkwo, better known as E-Money, have visited Osborn Nweze Umahi’s Osborn La-Palm Royal Resort in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

The cream de la crème in the Nigerian business circle and entertainment industry, in company of Dr. Kennedy Okonkwo, who is regarded as one of the biggest real estate moguls in Africa, attended the unveiling of the Osborn La-Palm Royal Resort to witness the grandeur and rebirth of the hospitality sector in the country.

The Osborn La-Palm Royal Resort, a brainchild of Osborn Nweze Umahi, known simply as Osborn Nweze, the son of former governor of Ebonyi State and current Nigerian minister of works, Dave Umahi, signifies luxurious comfort, premium relaxation and equipped with the best of state-of-the art facilities for maximum feeling of nature, beauty and brilliance.

Nweze is a 24-year-old businessman who, after learning the ropes under his father, chose a foray into bringing home to Nigerians indescribable sceneries of wonder, mindset and suitable embraces of  getaways which the elites seek-after outside the country.

Nweze is a vastly exposed young entrepreneur, and easy conclusion would deduce that the idea behind Osborn La-Palm Royal Resort stemmed from his experiences outside the country. Within months of its launch, the five-star resort has become a playground for the upper class, foreigners and business folks who often crave such.

Nweze, who holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Surreal University in the UK and obtained a master’s degree in finance and investment management from Aberdeen University in 2022, started work on the Osborn La-Palm Royal Resort as a teenager in 2011, and it took him 11 years to put on ground a world-class facility, which has taken only a little time before it becomes choice destination for the cream de la creme in the country.

Over the years, Nweze has demonstrated skills in business and management. Before he veered into his personal ventures, he managed the family investment – Brass Oil and Construction Limited. His portfolio also includes overseeing estate facilities.
