The Ogun State Government, yesterday, said that activities marking the 45th anniversary of the creation of the state in 1976 would begin on Wednesday, February 3, 2021.
A statement by the state’s Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Alhaji Abdulwaheed Odusile, said the year-long celebration would be low key. According to the statement, there will be a state broadcast by Governor Dapo Abiodun, followed by a virtual colloquium with the theme “Ogun State: The Legacy of a Great Future.”
The lead paper at the event will be presented by the renowned scholar of public administration and retired Federal Permanent Secretary, Prof. Tunji Olaopa.
