Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, has felicitated the iconic architect and renowned leader of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the country, Tom Ikimi, on his 80th birth anniversary.
In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Festus Ahon, Oborevwori described Ikimi as a first-rate political leader with impeccable leadership qualifications and a modelled administrator.
The statement reads: “As an impeccable leader, you made a name for yourself in the fields of architecture, politics and business. We celebrate you and all that you have accomplished from your humble beginnings to your illustrious career as a first-class architect and top politician.
“As you join the octogenarian club, we thank you for your kind contributions to nation-building. It is my prayer that the good Lord will continue to uphold and guide you in all your future endeavours.
“I heartily rejoice with the elder statesman and leader par excellence, a perfect gentleman and a man of immense wisdom, Tom Ikimi, as he celebrates his 80th birth anniversary today, April 10, 2024.
“It is our prayer that God will continue to protect you and grant you good health to render more selfless services to mankind.”
