Nigerian baby food brand, Moppet, gets Nigeria, US food safety certifications

Moppet, a leading Nigerian natural baby food produced by Frills by Berta, has achieved a prestigious Standard Organisation of Nigeria and United States’ Food and Drug Administration certifications.


In a press release to announce the accreditations on Monday, the founder of Moppet, Roberta Oyedokun, noted that the recognition underscored Moppet’s commitment to upholding the highest international standards for food safety and exceeding expectations for quality and hygiene in the Nigerian market.

“This is a reflection of the quality process we have put in place to ensure that we constantly give the best to our customers. The accreditation also shows our company’s commitment to food safety, quality and excellence, and we will not relent in making sure children across the globe have access to safe, nutritious, natural, and top-quality food,” she said.

According to her, Moppet has established and maintained comprehensive processes to ensure food safety throughout the entire supply chain.
