The Nigerian Army on Friday announced the commencement of online applications for the 87th Regular Recruits Intake for Non-Tradesmen and Women.
“This is to inform the general public & all interested applicants that online application for 87 Regular Recruits Intake for Non-Tradesmen & Women has commenced,” the army said in a statement on Friday.
The application period is open from May 3rd to June 7th, 2024, and can be accessed for free through the Nigerian Army recruitment portal, https://recruitment.army.mil.ng.
It also disclosed that shortlisted candidates will participate in a state recruitment screening exercise scheduled from June 20th to July 3rd, 2024.
The Army said interested persons can apply online via the recruitment portal https://recruitment.army.mil.ng.
From the portal, applicants should create a username and password, complete the application form, submit it online and print a copy. Then, print and complete the Guarantor Form as appropriate.
“Ensure you bring duly signed copies of the application and guarantor forms to the designated state recruitment centres,” the Army said.
Applicants must be single. Nigerian citizen by birth and must possess a National Identity Card/NIN slip.
Applicants must be medically, physically and psychologically fit in accordance with Nigerian Army standards.
Applicants must be free of any criminal conviction by the court of law.
All applicants must possess at least a minimum of 4 pasacs in not more t than two sittings in WASCE/GCE/NECO/NARTER.

Applicants must possess a valid birth certificate endorsed by the National Population Commission, Hospital or Local Government Council, or age declaration.
An applicant must not be less than 18 years or more than 22 years for non-trades/men and women, while tradesmen and women must not be more than 26 years as at 30th June 2024.
Applicants must not be less than 1.68 metres and 1.65 metres tall for male and female candidates, respectively.
Applicants must possess a valid certificate of state of origin.
Interested candidates are advised to log on to the Nigerian Army recruitment website https://recruitment.army.mil.ng to complete online registration from 3rd May to 7th June 2024.
