NEDC Managing Director Muhammed Alkali disclosed this during a courtesy visit to Governor Agbu Kefas in Jalingo, Taraba State.

Alkali underscored the commission’s dedication to advancing development in the state through the completion of these projects.

He also highlighted the purpose of the commission’s presence in Taraba, which includes introducing newly inaugurated board members and overseeing ongoing project progress.

Kefas commended the NEDC’s efforts and expressed optimism regarding the commission’s and state governments’ collaboration in addressing security and infrastructure challenges.

He recognized the NEDC’s significant contribution to the state’s development agenda and pledged full support for its initiatives.

He urged all stakeholders, including the private sector and civil society, to join forces in pursuit of development goals.

Kefas also emphasized the importance of collective action in overcoming the state’s challenges and reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to partnering with the NEDC where intervention is needed.

The visit, according to him, signifies a robust partnership, between the NEDC and the Taraba State government, aimed at driving sustainable development and tackling socio-economic issues in the region.
