NCRIB seeks support for e-insurance certificate

The Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers (NCRIB) has called for the support of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in the enforcement of e-insurance certificates.

The council also commended the FRSC for reducing poverty and road risks, particularly during yuletide.

The President of the Council, Babatunde Oguntade, disclosed during a courtesy visit by the council to the FRSC office in Abuja that there were limited accidents on the roads during the celebration.

Oguntade also noted that through the FRSC, there had been better compliance with traffic rules among which include third-party motor insurance.

He underscored the importance of the FRSC’s support in ensuring the validity, currency, and other critical details of insurance certificates.

According to him, insurance brokers also play a crucial role in ensuring that individuals and corporate entities receive maximum value from their insurance policies.

The NCRIB boss encouraged Nigerians to engage the services of registered insurance brokers as many individuals who have issues with their insurance did not utilise the expertise of registered brokers.
