Monarch hails CIPM’s role in enhancing HR practice

The Alake of Egbaland, Dr Michael Gbadebo, has acknowledged the achievements of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPM) in promoting human resource (HR) management and the development of professionals in Nigeria.

He stressed that the institute’s regulations, guidance and training, have contributed more to enhancing people management practices across public and private organisations in the country.

The monarch said this during a visit by the institute ahead of its maiden mega awards ceremony, where he was billed to chair the event as the Royal Father of the Day.

President and Chairman of Council, CIPM, Olusegun Mojeed, said the event is to recognise and celebrate excellence in the field of HR management, while also fostering partnerships with leaders to drive positive change and development in Nigeria.

According to him, the initiative celebrates selflessness, excellence, innovation and leadership, setting the stage for a brighter future for HR practices in Nigeria.
