Preparation are in top gear for popular gospel and juju musician, Prince Abel Dosunmu, well known as Mega 99, tour of the United States of America with his band.
The music tour, sponsored by a U.S. based promoter and Chief Executive Officer, Sammek Moments Arts and Cultural Entertainment, Samuel Ekundayo, will see the singer perform in not less than 22 states. Some of the states listed include New York, New Jersey, Washington DC and Maryland.
According to the organisers, the trip will kick off from April 2024 to April 2025. This is the second time the gospel/juju music artiste will be touring the United States with his band. Apart from the United States, Mega 99 has also taken his creative style of music to London, Dubai and some other places abroad.
Since his emergence in the Nigerian music industry over two decades ago, Mega 99 has been releasing hot albums back to back. Some of his albums include Money, Ona Ara, Weep Not, Thanksgiving, Victory At Last, Emajo Emayo, Mega Superstar, Appreciation, Fear Not, High Praise, Ogomi Jekayemo, Journey Mercy, Prayer Point, This Is My Year, Temi Tope and Olorire.
With his talent and achievements, has proved his mettle as an internationally recognised musician. His teaming fanbase scattered all over the world is a testimony of his achievements in the music industry.
For his craft and efforts, Mega 99 has been recognized and honoured with several awards including Amen Award, City People Award, Fiban Award MAAN Award and Yomafa Award, which he has more than eight times.
