Lupita Nyong’o and Joshua Jackson have seemingly confirmed that they are dating after being seen holding hands and kissing during a vacation in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, where they celebrated Lupita’s 41st birthday on March 1.
The new couple looked happy and relaxed as they enjoyed the sun and the sea, wearing casual and comfortable outfits.
Lupita rocked a patterned bikini, while Joshua sported dark blue swimming trunks. They were seen running into the waves, cuddling on the beach and sharing a passionate smooch.
According to E! News, Joshua surprised Lupita with a large balloon display and a stunning bouquet of flowers in their hotel suite. The pair also visited the spa for some pampering and relaxation. “They looked madly in love, like they just couldn’t get enough of one another,” the eyewitness said.
Lupita and Joshua’s romance rumours started in October 2023, when they were spotted together at a Janelle Monáe concert in Los Angeles, shortly after their respective splits from Selema Masekela and Jodie Turner-Smith.
Lupita announced her breakup from Selema on Instagram the same day as the photos of her at the concert were released.
Joshua’s estranged wife Jodie filed for divorce on October 2, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for ending their four-year marriage. They share a 3-year-old daughter named Juno Rose Diana Jackson.
Lupita and Joshua have not commented publicly on their relationship, but their PDA-filled vacation speaks for itself. The Black Panther: Wakanda Forever star and the Dr. Death actor seem to have found love again in each other’s arms.
