The Lagos State Examinations Board (LSEB) has announced the dates for the 2024 screening test for admission into the state’s 16 model colleges and upgraded Junior Secondary Schools.
This was disclosed in a statement on the Lagos State Government’s official website published on Thursday.
LSEB’s director, Adebayo Orunsolu said the screening test will take place from Tuesday, May 28, to Friday, May 31, 2024.
The exams will take place at five designated Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres across the state’s six education districts, Orunsola added.
Orunsolu urged all duly registered applicants to revisit the Exams Board’s portal using their username and password to print out a clear copy of their sitting arrangements for the examination, with effect from Saturday, May 18, 2024.
He added that applicants are to come to the examination venue with a printed copy of their examination slips, noting that electronic gadgets such as phones, iPads, watches and others will not be allowed in the examination hall.
The director stated that the eligible pupils who are interested in participating in the entrance examination but have yet to register have been given one week of grace to do so, as the registration portal will be closed on Friday, May 17th, 2024.
Orunsola also called for the cooperation of parents/guardians and all other stakeholders to successfully conduct the examination.
The list of the model colleges and upgraded secondary schools is: Vetland Junior Grammar School, Ifako-Ijaiye; Lagos Junior Model College, Ojo; Lagos State Girls Junior Model College, Agunfoye; Lagos State Model Junior College, Igbonla; Government Junior College,Ikorodu; Badagry Junior Grammar School; Epe Junior Grammar School, Epe; and Lagos State Junior College, Epe-Ketu.
Others include Oriwu Model Junior College, Ikorodu; Agbowa Model Junior College; Lagos State Model Junior College, Meiran; Lagos State Junior Model College, Igbokuta; Eva Adelaja Memorial Junior Secondary School; Lagos State Junior Model College, Kankon; Lagos State Junior Model College, Badore; and Lagos State Civil Service Model Junior College, Igbogbo.
