Following their elimination from the Kosovar Cup, KF Dinamo Ferizal’s forward, Odi Henry Chibueze, has declared that his team will make a strong comeback in the Kosovo league next season.

Chibueze, a versatile 31-year-old player who can operate as a striker or winger on either flank, expressed his disappointment at their recent cup loss but is determined to compete for titles in the upcoming season.

KF Dinamo Ferizal were knocked out of the Kosovar Cup in the second round (Round of 16) after losing 1-0 to elite division side Dulkagjini. This defeat followed their victory over fellow division two side Vushtrria in the previous round.

Chibueze noted that their opponents in the cup match were fortunate to escape with a win, but he remains optimistic about his team’s future prospects.

“It still hurts me that my club couldn’t make it to at least the semi-final or even the final after giving all we got on the pitch and had to bow out with a painful 1-0 defeat to Dulkagjini,” said Chibueze. “But with the level we are now, we will surely take football in Kosovo and Europe by storm next season.”

The final of the Kosovar Cup, scheduled for May 15, 2024, will be between Ballkani FC and Prishtina FC.

Chibueze’s comments underscore his determination to ensure that KF Dinamo Ferizal compete at a higher level in the upcoming season, with ambitions to challenge the top teams in Kosovo’s elite division.
