I have a very supportive wife – Kevin Olu

Kevin Olu is the CEO of Orit-winors Nig Ltd and First Triple Billionaire

Like the popular saying that behind a successful man, there is always a woman, Nigerian entrepreneur and politician, Hon. Kevin Olu, has identified his wife as the support system that has helped his business to thrive and become the envy of others.

“To me, one of the secrets of my success in business is my wife. She is always there for me. Whenever I am away, she is seriously on the ground to make the companies work,” said Kevin Olu.

Speaking during a recent interview with journalists, Delta-born Olu was quick to reveal his chains of business concerns range from equipment, vessels, parts and marine instruments.

“My wife is the one running my business for me and we are doing very well. I believe that before the year runs out, we will get to a point where the country will know us by God’s grace.

“We are still running a hospitality business which is part of First Triple Billionaires. My wife is helping me in my hotel business. She had a background in this through her father, Michael Ejele, was once a board member of Delta Line and was later appointed a Commissioner in Delta State.

“My wife is really my pillar of success and she has been singlehandedly running my business and has been assisting me in putting things together.” said Kevin Olu, who is also quite popular on Instagram.

The CEO of Orit-Winors Nigeria Limited and First Triple Billionaire, who is currently the Senior Special Assistant to the Delta State Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa, and his wife are born-givers, and jointly run a charity company that has being operating for over six years.

He also has some advice for Nigerian entrepreneurs on how best to imbibe the spirit of risk-taking as part of the strategy to sustain and get optimum yields from their businesses.

“The advice I want to give people is you have to be faithful and be ready to take risks. Sometimes, I bought cars and fixed them and made them my own till someone comes to buy them. So, don’t be pessimistic, always think positively. This is how a businessman can survive this period,” Olu said.

On his role model, Olu was quick to single out Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote.

“My role model in business here in Nigeria is Aliko Dangote. He is someone I hold in high esteem and I have met him twice and he is someone God has ordained and I wish for God to take me to that level. I also want the Almighty to give me a broader knowledge and bird’s-eye  view of all things in business, which in turn will catapult my business ventures into top blue chip companies,” Olu added.
