It’s as though it suddenly resurfaced into the world of fashion from nowhere as ‘Tulle’, designed in various beautiful styles such as gown, wedding dresses, top, coats, bed skirts, bows, jackets and skirt, has been at the centre of designers vogue fabric since last year.
The Tulle fabric, which bestows majestic elegance on women, resurfaced in the spring runways last season, having been featured in collections for Alexander McQueen and Christian Siriano. Now, celebrities and influencers are catching on, incorporating them into their outfits both on and off the red carpet.
In the early 1900s, the net-like fabric that is made from silk, nylon, rayon or polyester yarns was used to adorn evening gowns, lingerie and curtains. Although the fabric is net-like, it is a finer textile than the textile referred to as ‘net’. Tulle is made of small-gauge thread, netted in a hexagonal pattern with small openings, and frequently starched to provide body or stiffness.
The sheer, delicate and lightweight material has topped the list of designers and fashion lovers’ choice of elegant styling for women of all colour, sizes and shapes.

. Top – Most women prefer to have the fabric designed in ruffled or pleated pattern to achieve feathery full-body top either styled as off shoulder or any other choice style.
. Skirt – The skirt could be styled simply for an everyday look and paired with a graphic top for an extra pop of colour.
. Gown – This often comes out in the elegance of a queen, which is why most women prefer to make a gown with tulle as the simplest of style comes out with a majestic aesthetic.
