The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Crown Allied Global Realty & Homes Ltd., Dr. Gbadewole Amos Kayode, has been appointed as the Vice Chairman of the Real Estate Developers Association of Nigeria (REDAN) Abuja Chapter (REDAN-FCT, Abuja).
In his acceptance statement, Dr. Gbadewole Amos Kayode outlined his primary goals and objectives for his tenure, stating, “My primary goals and objectives as the newly elected Vice Chairman include, among others, membership mobilisations and registration to have an all-inclusive REDAN FCT.”
Kayode emphasised the importance of instilling discipline and professionalism among real estate developers in the FCT, Abuja, and ensuring effective intergovernmental relations among regulatory authorities and professional bodies.
He stressed the need to collaborate with entities such as the Department of Development Control, FCDA, AGIS, Nigeria Society of Engineers, COREN, and Nigeria Institute of Town Planners.
Furthermore, Kayode expressed his commitment to working with the FCT Administration to address the housing deficit in the FCT and promote affordable housing through initiatives like the mass housing department.
He also highlighted the significance of fostering unity among divergent members of REDAN in the FCT, Abuja, and mobilising funds for members through institutions such as the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria (FMBN), Shelter Afrique, and CBN Housing interventions.
Kayode stressed the importance of teamwork, stating, “Teamwork is the lifeblood of every successful organisation. I am ready to work effectively with the Chairman of REDAN-FCT, Abuja, and other members of the executive.”
Under his leadership, Kayode plans to prioritize membership mobilisation advocacy and address challenges through dialogue, effective communication, and leadership skills. He expressed readiness to support the chairman on any initiative brought forward for implementation.
Additionally, the vice chairman emphasized the importance of effective communication to ensure mutual understanding among members and collaboration with government agencies and industry stakeholders to enhance the welfare of developers in the FCT.
