From Music to Digital Creator: The rise of King Veeow

Imevbore Frank Akpata, popularly known as King Veeow, has charted an inspiring journey from his early days as a keyboard player to becoming a renowned content creator and media personality. Reflecting on his beginnings, King Veeow recalls, “I started entertainment by playing keyboard in Anglican Church, Uroe as far back as 2003 where my dad was a lay reader, and by doing that I worked with different people. I remember I worked with my relative called Mr. Oyegbe in Uroe, Edo State, before I moved to Lagos in 2007.”


King Veeow’s path took a significant turn when he ventured into writing rap songs, despite facing discouragement from friends. His persistence paid off in 2018 when Kizz Daniel signed his friend DJ Dino, leading to an opportunity for Veeow to join their team. “I started working with Kizz Daniel,” he shared, but his career trajectory continued to evolve. By 2019, he had joined Ice Prince’s team, marking another pivotal moment before he eventually found his true calling in content creation.

The culmination of King Veeow’s diverse experiences and talents came to fruition in 2023 with the founding of Chunesday Africa, a company dedicated to providing a wide array of entertainment content to thrill audiences in Lagos State. “Fast forward to 2023, we birthed a company called Chunesday Africa,” he explained, highlighting his role as a director and shareholder in the organization. This venture signifies a major milestone in his career, allowing him to influence the entertainment landscape on a larger scale.

King Veeow’s story is a testament to his resilience and adaptability, showcasing his evolution from a musician to a multifaceted entertainer and entrepreneur. His journey underscores the importance of perseverance and seizing opportunities, inspiring many aspiring creators in the entertainment industry.
