Prince Fadipe Foundation (PFF), a non-governmental, non-profit organisation has trained members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) at the orientation camp in Lagos.

The two weeks training was with a view to partnering with NYSC scheme to train fresh graduates in skill acquisition in various entrepreneurship and vocations to ensure self-reliance.

The Founder, Dr. Seun Fadipe, who spoke through the foundation’s Public Engagement Officer, Akeem Adebomojo after the training, said another 30 members of the beneficiaries would be selected to get trained for three months.

He added that at the completion of the training, the foundation would buy all the necessary equipment each successful Corps member would need to establish.

“The vocation chosen for this batch is fashion, which is tagged ‘Ajuwaya Fashionpreneur’ with the intention to go into other vocations such as ICT, Agriculture, Fabrication, Creative Arts and others,” Adebomojo said.

He said the foundation would partner with D’amire Fashion School where the shortlisted Corps members would be trained.

The foundation also donated fashion-designing equipment to the camp.

While receiving the machine on behalf of the state coordinator, Stella Nweke thanked the founder and charged other Nigerians to emulate PFF by giving back to the society.
