Panache Ventures, Canada’s leading early-stage venture capital fund, alongside Kora, a pan-African payment gateway, has sensitised African tech leaders on venture capital in a concerted effort to catalyse technological innovation and investment opportunities in Africa.

The collaborative effort aimed to cultivate connections and ideas as well as equip startups for venture capital (VC) funding in the region.

The event, attended by over 100 tech founders and leaders representing a myriad of industries, served as a nexus for exchanging ideas, forging partnerships and exploring avenues for growth.

The host, CEO of Kora, Dickson Nsofor, underscored the event’s importance in nurturing startups poised to redefine Africa’s technology landscape through partnerships and mentorship.

According to him, Kora is committed to supporting tech founders and startups. The firm, he said, has been instrumental in driving innovation and economic growth in Africa.

“The collaboration between Panache Ventures and Kora in hosting this event underscores our shared vision of empowering tech founders and catalyzing Africa’s vibrant startup ecosystem,” he noted.

Nsofor mentioned the importance of partnerships, mentorship and community building in unlocking the continent’s vast potential and propelling it towards a future defined by innovation and prosperity.
