Firm campaigns for healthy eating habits, unveils Eativists

In a bid to improve life quality through food content, food and beverage brand Knorr has said that with locally sourced vegetables, individuals can begin to make quality and healthy life choices.

The firm said this during the commemoration of the World Eat for Good Day which took place recently in Lagos. The event also featured the unveiling of 14 Eativist.

Category Manager, Nutritions, Unilever West Africa, Damilola Dania, said that the Eativists are people who believe in incorporating vegetables into their meals and consciously opt for options that benefit both themselves and the planet, inspiring others to do the same.

She said eating well is an important part of living a healthy and quality life, adding that the Eativists campaign is a lifestyle that influences people to make better food choices. “The aim is to drive behavioral change within the community for health. We believe that healthy eating improves one’s quality of life, which avails the mental and physical capacity to function better. It also means you are responsible with your consumption and make better eating choices. Knorr gives you the inspiration to create fantastic meals,” she said.
