Edo APC guber aspirant Ikpea hails Oborevwori on Supreme Court victory

A Chieftain of the All Progressive Congress (APC) and Edo governorship aspirant, Joseph Ikpea has hailed Sheriff Oborevwori on his victory at the Supreme Court ruling which upheld his election as the Governor of Delta State.

Ikpea, a former Esan South East local government chairman also lauded the governorship All Progressive Congress, APC, governorship candidate in Delta State, Chief Ovie Omo-Agege for the display of the spirit of sportsmanship with his congratulatory message to Governor Sheriff Oborevwori immediately after the Supreme Court verdict.

A statement made available to newsmen and signed by the APC governorship hopeful Joseph Ikpea described the governor’s triumph as “victory for the people of Delta State, and very well deserved”.

According to Ikpea, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s victory is a merited one that has brought peace and unity to Delta State.


The Edo governorship aspirant said with the series of court cases over the just concluded guber election now over, the Delta State governor would focus on delivering good governance.

“I celebrate the victory of the supreme court with Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and the good people of Delta State. I also know with this case over, the governor can now focus on delivering the dividend of democracy to the people of Delta State as promised during the campaigns.

“I know your determination to lead and commitment to the people of Delta state and also believe in the transformation agenda which is already visible to all deltans.”
