NIGERIANS will have the opportunity to become a homeowner in the City of Dubai today in Lagos.

Wrothams Windsor Limited, a Nigeria-based real estate development and consultancy firm, has partnered with Emaar Properties for a two-city road show, bringing a selection of some of the finest properties the developer has to offer.

The road show starts today, Thursday, November 19th in Lagos for two days at the Radisson Blu Hotel, and then to The Hilton Hotel, Abuja on 24th for another two days.

Emaar Properties, most famous for the Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building, has had plans to visit Nigeria due to the high interest buyers have shown for the city over the last five years. Nigerian properties buyers have invested vast amounts into Dubai properties and the appetite for more is still high.

According the Wrothams Windsor’s Operations Director, Mr. Adam Jones, even buyers with negative experience in Dubai property still have interest, “we see many buyers who have already bought and didn’t get the ROI they were promised, often as a result of overpaying, but with Emaar, the pricing is transparent, the product delivered is what was marketed and most importantly, the home owner is in control of his property, there is no ridiculous 10 or 15 years mandatory management contract attached.”

From research, the developer, Emaar Properties, not only develops residential apartments and homes, but is also a leading name in hotels, with the likes of Armani Hotel, VIDA Hotel and The Address downtown to name just a few.

Jones continues, “Emaar is not a new name in Dubai property, which for a buyer, is important, being able to see the results of a company when buying off-plan is one of the biggest concerns a new buyer has, and having a long history of successful projects is one of the biggest selling features of Emaar.’’
