Music Producer Kehinde Emmanuel, popularly known as Napji has accused Davido of not paying him his full royalties.
Napji alleged he is the is the brain behind three of Davido’s hit songs.
In an “X” post, he disclosed that he produced the songs ‘Jowo’, ’Fem’ and Sunlight In the album A better time’, but has not received his full payment.
Posting on his social media, page, the songwriter, said;
“I am Napji, producer behind Fem, Jowo and sunlight on @davido album (A better time).Which was released 13th November 2020.
“I was paid an advance of 500 thousand naira for each of the songs. I will be releasing more information as I seek to collect my royalties & publishing.”
Reports revealed Napji, and Majicboi co-produced the song while Davido wrote them.
The song “Jowo” has been shrouded in controversies since it’s release.
In 2021, Davido was accused by singer Victor AD of stealing his song “Jowo” which was later debunked.
His lawyer revealed those who wrote and produced the song for Davido, of which Napji was also included.
“As far as I know, Jowo was performed by Davido, written by David Adeleke & Oladeinde Okubajo aka @Davido & @Deindeofficial and prod by Jerry Jethro & Peter A. Kehinde Emmanuel aka Napji & Majicboi.
“That’s as far as I know. Don’t shoot me I’m just the guy that did the paperwork”

Meanwhile, backing up his claim, a video released indicated the producers presence in the “making of the video Fem by Napji”
Davido has not responded to the accusations nor has his lawyers said anything so far about it.
Napji also promised to reveal other important details to back up his claim.
