The Pastor in charge of Faith Revivalists Christian Mission (Aladura), Most Elder Alfred Bamidele Taiwo has underscored the importance of laying the foundation of marriage on Jesus Christ, for sustainable and lasting home.

He made the comment at the 15th edition of “Walk In Love,” a yearly programme held in the church auditorium in commemoration of Val’s Day.

“We are not celebrating Valentine Day as it were, but rather seizing the occasion to talk about the ‘true and genuine love,’ which God approves by organising this beneficial and impactful programme for our members as well as members of the public to discuss about marriage and address the issues mitigating happy marriage and how the singles who are yet to raise their homes can be led of God to their right partners with a view to enjoying a happy home.

“God instituted marriage for completion, procreation, and prosperity and says that one will chase ten, but two will chase ten thousands and that woe unto him that is alone because if he falls, there would be no one to raise him, but blessed are the married, for if one falls, the other will raise him or her. These are the bases for God instituting marriage and since He is the author of marriage, He is the Only One that can give a happy home to those that have given their lives to Him completely; trusting Him and are continually and consistently following Him, which is the essence of this programme.

He added that testimonies abound that since the commencement of the programme 15 years ago, a lot of broken homes have been re-united, while singles have found their spouses and are now enjoying happy homes.
