Bellarks Polytechnic Kwale set to commence academic activities

Bellarks Polytechnic Kwale, Ndokwa West Council Area of Delta State, is set to commence academic session as the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) has accredited the institution.

The statement issued by the Registrar, Ayeni Ayotade, revealed that the polytechnic was now opened and admission in progress, just as NBTE had approved five courses for the institution.

Ayeni explained that the five courses are, National Diploma (ND) Computer Engineering Technology, ND Electrical and Electronic Engineering, ND Business Administration and Management, ND Statistics and ND Computer Science.


He maintained that research efforts, creativity and innovations would be directed towards skills acquisition for self-reliance to address increasing unemployment through quality teaching and learning.

“Located in a serene environment, the Polytechnic is set to provide sound character formation and self-discipline of the students, just as entrepreneurial skills needed by the students to become employers of labour would be learned.

“Talents and skills of students in various sporting activities that will enable them to participate effectively locally and international will also be developed,” the statement added.

Ayeni also pointed out that Bellarks Polytechnic was set to engage in international collaboration with educational institutions for excellence, integrity, self-control and discipline, pacesetting, leadership by example, good stewardship and institutional patriotism.
