Awards are not primary determinant of talent, says Havens

Afro-pop sensation Havens has ignited a conversation about the true measure of an artist’s greatness, arguing that awards should not be the primary determinant of talent.

In a recent post on his social media platform, Havens voiced his opinion that the number of awards an entertainer wins should not overshadow their artistic contributions and talent.

Havens emphasized that while awards are a positive recognition, they do not necessarily reflect the true value or talent of an artist.

“Yes, awards are good, but it doesn’t mean that those who haven’t won at all or have fewer are not talented,” he stated.

Havens argue that the industry should place more value on creativity, consistency, and the impact of music on audiences.

His opinion challenges the traditional metrics of success, suggesting that accolades and trophies should not be the sole benchmarks.
