REMEMBER Anita Hogan? The ebony black Nollywood actress who married a Dutch man and was involved several years back in a nude picture scandal? Well, Anita who relocated to Netherlands with her husband Mak, who is now late, is planning a big return to the Nigerian space.

The mother of two hinted that the suspense filled book is titled Day Dream or Be Left Behind, said, “The book is ready. I was privileged to have Bros Alibaba (Atunyota Akpobome) write the foreword. It is the story of a true Nigerian living in Nigeria, battling with all that comes from living in Nigeria and surviving it all via different coping mechanism,” hinted Anita who is top Executive Board Member of the Nigeria Diaspora Association of the Netherlands.

Ronke Oshodi-Oke Explains New Slim Frame
ALL those who have been trolling popular Nollywood actress Ronke Oshodi Oke on social media on why she has lost so much weight and now looks skinny from her earlier plus size, heard from the horse’s mouth during the week.
The actress who is popular in the Yoruba language movie divide of Nollywood stated loud and clear that she had to embark on a weight loss programme, because of a health challenge and not because of a tea or herb.
In a video she made to address trolls on her Instagram page, Ronke, star of Prophetess and The Ghost and The Tout declared that she has been battling an undisclosed ailment, insisting she didn’t lose weight because of a tea or herbs which some celebrities have reportedly been taken to shed weight.
“If I would age, it wouldn’t happen in six months. I was going through a health challenge and you guys had no idea what I was going through. So, the weight loss has nothing to do with the tea or herbs you all are alleging. Abi it is because I didn’t come on online to ask people for money,” the star of Okun Ife, Tiwa’s Baggage quizzed.
Chioma Chukwuka Is a Year Older
NOTABLE Nollywood actress Chioma Chukwaka Akpotha clocked 43 on Sunday March 12, and as she has always done since social media became the in-thing, the award winning actress who is now popular as ‘Hero of Democracy’ because of the role she played in ensuring that the February 25 presidential election in her polling unit disrupted, took to her official Instagram page in dazzling looks.
The winner of the best actress award at the 2007 edition of the Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA) wore a strapless black dress with a plunging sweetheart neckline and captioned the photo thus: “I know my Father’s care for me. He is been good, He is always there for me… Thank God for life, family, friends and loved ones. Happy birthday to the apple of God’s eye. Happy birthday Chioma Nwachinemere Nkemakonam Chukwuka.”
Soon after she shared the post, another picture of Chioma and her colleague and friend Uche Jombo surfaced online. This time, it was Uche Jombo with Chioma at a mall in Lekki for what Uche said was the first part of a surprise birthday planned for the star of the wave-making movie Bended Kneels.
Uche shopped for Chioma at the mall until the winner of the 2010 Afro Hollywood award for best actress in a lead role asked Uche to stop. “Chioma is an amazing human being. She is more than a colleague and one person I can drive the extra mile for,” she enthused.
Chioma’s acting career began with her participation in the movie The Handkerchief in 2000. The mother of three has starred in over a hundred movies including Sins of the Flesh, The Apple, Sunset and Romantic Attraction.
Ini Edo Joins Unofficial Nollywood’s Mum Club
IT is official. Notable Nollywood, actress Ini Edo, has now been admitted into the unofficial club of Nollywood mums. The Akwa Ibom State native has revealed that she welcomed her first child through surrogacy to fulfil her dream of becoming a mother.
Ini, star of the wave making series on Netflix, Shanty Town, disclosed that she chose the path to fulfil her dream of becoming a mother.
“Yes I do have a daughter and I had her through surrogacy. The eggs are mine and so genetically, she’s my blood,” she said, adding, “I chose this path to fulfill my dream of becoming a mother. I still have a good number of eggs frozen in case I decide to do surrogacy again or carry my baby myself.”
Ini also explained that she opted for a donor, because of her and her baby’s peace of mind. I hope with this declaration, social media trollers will allow Ini Edo to drink water and keep cup, as they say in local parlance.
Laide Bakare Not Perturbed About Nude Photos Post
NOTABLE Nollywood actress, Laide Bakare, doesn’t seem bothered about news making the rounds that her nude pictures and videos have surfaced online. Rather, the actress has been mocking all those who have taken to her Instagram handle to berate her for allowing her photos and videos to surface online.
It would be recalled that the controversial blogger, Gistlover had dragged the actress online over the alleged leaked video. The post from Gistlover elicited several backlash for the actress who has continued to laugh out loud at critics in the comment section of her post. The actress has not said beyond sharing the laughter emoji and exclaiming ‘eyaaa’.
Fans say they will continue to camp on her timeline until she makes a categorically statement on the alleged leaked sex videos and pictures.
