Nurudeen Azeez, CEO of Amillion stitches fashion brand is a fashion and monogram designer based in Lagos, Nigeria. A seasoned, bespoke fashion designer who deals majorly in male attires and is well versed in the world of fashion designing. He also makes ready to wear English styles.

He has worked with different fashion brands as well as fabrics houses in the industry and has stamped his seal in the hearts of many customers, a style expert with years of experience and an admirable skill to match.

Nurudeen Azeez journey into the fashion world started in 2012 when he was still in secondary school. He was first taught by his elder brother who was also his mentor in the industry. He started by sewing for classmates, teachers and street friends garnering their admiration, love and respect. He’s been in the game for a long time and his passion for fashion has ever since grown. He gained admission into Zenith University  college Accra, Ghana  in 2015 where he studied accounting even while he was studying he found a way to continue his fashion business and was still sewing for colleagues, School mates and friends alike.

After he finished his studies in Accra in 2019, he came back to Nigeria and got a job with Rocky Africa Clothing Limited owned by Mr Haruna Adamu, a clothing factory where he learnt about different fabrics and added to his body of knowledge.

The fashion enthusiast moved back to Ghana in 2021, while he was there he worked collaboratively with Franklin izu CEO of fenz couture in the Accra Fashion Week. A week dedicated to showcasing some of the finest creative styles of different professionals across Accra and neighboring cities.


Subsequently in 2021, during his National Youth Service Corps NYSC, he worked with Christian Precious the CEO of Rozy couture during the Aba Fashion Week. They worked together to make fine apparels that showcases the African heritage and gives a boost of confidence to its’ wearers.

He interned with Franklin Izu for some months and during this period he gathered skills and knowledge about the fashion industry, the styles and every bit of the creative process as well before moving back to Nigeria and then ‘AMillion Stitches’ was born and the fashion brand was established in the city of iyanapaja, Lagos, Nigeria where major of his clientele resides.

The brand’s aim is to create African inspired men’s wear with deliberate attention to detail, creative use of textile and to ensure sustainability that will transcend generations to come.

‘Amillion stitches’ goal is to ”revolutionize the perception of African male fashion by blending traditional craftsmanship with contemporary designs, creating sophisticated and culturally rich attire that celebrates African heritage and to break into the global scene with captivating styles that resonate with global audiences,” Mr Nurudeen added.

Furthermore, he is not just a respected and skilled fashion designer who specializes in creating on trend male attires, he specializes in training young talents who are interested in pursuing a career in fashion designing.


He is also a trained and skilled monogram designer. A monogram is a type of design that includes the combination of two to three letters to form a creative design to represent something or to beautify. Monogram designs have been used in the fashion industry over time to make clothes distinct and attractive. It can be used on Agbada, Ankara and senator fabrics alike. He not only does monogram designs for his clients, he also designs for other fashion designers as well.

With this in mind, he has proved himself over time as a skilled and experienced fashion and monogram designer, one with great and amazing works to show for it.

And in the words of Joan Smalls that says “Fashion is part of our culture, and it’s about more than just a pretty dress”.

His vision for the fashion brand is to become a fashion brand that not only thrives in  Africa but in the global scene as well. The brand has a vision to create designs for the African male which will enable them to step out with elegance and In style with a dress fused with both tradition and a wave of modernity for the African male to embrace their cultural identity with confidence.
