After his latest success with Zinoleesky, Adekunle Gold has signed a record label deal with Deff Jam records. The American based multinational label released this in a press, through his CEO, Tunji Balogun.

“I have been following him (Adekunle GOLD) since 2016, when he released SADE, and ever since then you can see, everything about him has gone up through the scale” Tunji Balogun said.

This comes at a time when AG, is planning to release his fifth album, PARTY NO DEY STOP in June of this year, and while fans around the world are already planning to enjoy his melody Deff jam also struck a deal with him.

He explained it’s good news for him, and hopes to hit the ground running with the record label. “The track record is there. The history is there. They break artists, and they have niche, unique artists like me, so I think it’s the right move for me

Recognised for his alluring voice, Tunji Balogun furthermore said, his vocals have widened as this is evident in his songs in recent times.

Bringing the afro beat star was the only thing left for the record label to add, therefore adding AG to the family fits the click. ‘When I started at Deff Jam, I knew I wanted to bring the label into the Afrobeats space tastefully, with the right artists and partnership’’ he said.

AG joins the list of other super stars like Justin Bieber, Toya Johnson, Nasty C, Chainz, Dave East, Jeezy, Jeremih, Jhené Aiko, and Fredo Bang in the Deff jam records.
