No fewer than 324,000 women from six states of the federation will benefit from the Nigeria for Women Project (NFWP).
The project, The Guardian learnt, is a World Bank-assisted project in the Federal Ministry of Women Affairs implemented in Ogun, Abia, Edo, Kebbi, Niger and Taraba states.
According to the Lead Consultant, Dr. Garba Danjuma, the project is being implemented in Bali, Takum and Zing local councils of Taraba.
Speaking at a two-day training organised by the development Research and Project Centre (dRPC), Danjuma noted that at the end of the project circle, 324,000 women in the six states would have benefitted through capacity building.
The project has the input of Partnership for Advancing Women in Economic Development (PAWED).
